The bond interest rate for each interest payment period is determined as follows: The interest rate applicable to the bond's interest payment periods is determined at the interest rate determination date, equal to (A) 3.5%/year plus (+) (B) average (rounded to two decimal places according to the principle (1) round up when the 3rd digit after the decimal point is 5 or more and (ii) remove the 3rd digit after the decimal point when that digit is less than 5) of the interest rate on personal saving deposits in Vietnam Dong, normally postpaid, applied to the 12-month term announced on the official websites of reference banks including Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, and Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (each of the above banks is individually referred to the “reference bank” and the “reference banks” in general) on the date of interest rate determination (“Reference Interest Rate”), provided that if for any reason it is not possible to have that saving deposit interest rate of one or more reference banks on that date, then the reference interest rate will be the average (rounded according to the above principle) of the interest rate on personal savings deposits in Vietnam Dong, normally postpaid, applied to the 12-month term announced on the official website of the remaining reference bank(s), with the additional condition that if for any reason it is not possible to get interest rate on that savings deposit of reference bank on that date, the reference interest rate will be the average (rounded according to the above principle) of interest rates on personal savings deposits in Vietnam Dong, normally paid later, applicable to the term of 12 months published on the official website of the reference bank(s) on the nearest immediately preceding working day.
