On September 22, 2026, the inaugural Vietnam Securities Investment Fund Awards ceremony took place at the Pullman Hotel in Hanoi. The event was organized by Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC) in collaboration with the *Finance and Investment* newspaper and FiinGroup. It attracted over 250 delegates, including leaders and representatives from the State Securities Commission (SSC), government ministries and agencies, fund management companies, distribution agents, supervisory banks, relevant financial institutions, and media outlets.

VFA is an initiative launched to implement the policy outlined in the Ministry of Finance’s Decision 3168/QĐ-BTC (2025), which approved the scheme for restructuring the investor base and developing the securities investment fund sector. VFA’s core mission is to evaluate and honor securities investment funds based on standardized data and independent processes, aiming to foster transparency and elevate standards within the fund management industry. This mission is realized through four key pillars of action:
1. Establishing objective and transparent benchmarks for the fund industry.
2. Promoting long-term investment flows and sustainable growth.
3. Creating a connecting platform for the entire fund industry ecosystem.
4. Recognizing and honoring high-performing investment funds that make positive contributions to the market.
VFA serves as a reference source, providing individual and institutional investors with a solid basis for making investment product choices.
